We don't start with a treatment plan. We start with a favourite game.
PlayKey exists because the best developmental support doesn't feel like support at all — it feels like someone who gets you, showing up to do the thing you love.
Therapy that felt like a chore
Too many NDIS kids were disengaging from supports that felt clinical, repetitive, or disconnected from who they actually were.
Start with what lights them up
PlayKey began with a simple shift — match mentors to kids by shared interest first, and let developmental goals follow naturally.
Two states, one philosophy
From Perth to Sydney, our mentors meet kids in the activities, games and spaces they already love.

The principles behind every session.
In practice, that means a person-centred, child-centred and strengths-based approach — starting from what a child can already do and genuinely enjoys, not a deficit or a diagnosis.
Interest comes first
Every plan starts with a question: what does this kid actually love? The goals get built around the answer — never the other way round.
Progress, not performance
We measure growth in confidence, independence and connection — not in how well a session looked on paper.
Safety is non-negotiable
Every mentor completes a Working With Children Check, NDIS worker screening, and ongoing training before meeting a family.
Consistency builds trust
The same mentor shows up, week after week. Kids open up when they know who's coming and that they're not going anywhere.
Five programs, one starting point.
Who we are, and where we work.
